People often ask "How can I adapt to the changing conditions of the marketplace?"

The nature of advertising is changing.  People want to get the most from their advertising dollar.

Newpaper advertising is good for a day.  One day.  Then it wraps fish, lines the bottom of a bird cage or hits the landfill.

Ever throw away a direct mail envelope without opening it?  What a waste.

Web advertising is at it's very essence a green form of advertising.

The only people who use phone books probably take their horse and buggy to the market.  Phone book ads are a waste.

A TV Commercial, which may cost thousands for thirty seconds, is a temporary form of advertising.  It's on the air - then it's gone.  There is little lasting benefit when viewers hit the remote when the commercials come on.

Advertising Age said "the thirty second TV spot is being replaced by WebTV.

Channels like the ChoosePennsylvania.com Video Channel and the Frederick.com Video Channel provide on-demand content that is ready to be seen when the viewer is ready.  One of the reasons why the internet is so popular is because it fits our fast-pace lifestyle.

On broadcast radio, commercials disappear after a very-expensive thirty seconds.

Podcast usage is on the rise.  Concepts like AreaRadio are a practical way to listen to audio content on the web.  You can download a podcast and listen to it when you want to.  The commercial is always with the podcast.
