And the winner is Melissa Callan.
More than 350 beautiful ladies dressed like Holly Golightly (Audry Hepburn in the 1961 film Breakfast At Tiffany’s) and converged on historic downtown Frederick and Colonial Jewelers to raise money for the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund to fight cancer. After a social hour at Colonial they all went to the Weinberg Center to watch the movie.
From the Colonial Jewelers website: The woman who impresses the judges by looking the most like Holly Golightly will be crowned during intermission with a fabulous jeweled tiara and given bragging rights all year. The winner will also receive a surprise gift – compliments of Colonial Jewelers. Next year, this winner will ceremonially pass the “tiara” on to next year’s winner during the movie’s intermission. A legacy will be born!
As much fun as the evening will be, you can have even more fun knowing that all the proceeds from this event will be going to the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund at FMH. Who knew giving money to a good cause could be so much fun?
