The importance of the pieces and their utilitarian value will also be examined. Pieces crafted in various media such as glass and silver, dating from 1812 through 1932 are inclluded in the collection. Also included are paintings displaying how artists used decorative art objects as subjects in still lifes and other compositions. This exhibit will be on display through July 2013.
