Frederick Festival of the Arts 25th Anniversary Kick Off Concert featuring The Channel Cats

Description: The Channel Cats have been performing throughout the region since the late 1980’s when the band was formed in Cumberland, MD. The Channel Cats continue to entertain year-round with a mix of musical styles: soulful sounds from Motown, the doo-wop of the 50's, the danceable rock & roll from the '60's and '70's, as well as blues. Audience participation is always encouraged during the band’s performances. The band features Tom “TJ” Jenkins on Vocals & harmonica; Bill Ryan on drums; Paul Sayles on guitars and vocals and Pat Sullivan on bass guitar and vocals. The Channel cats are honored to return to Frederick to perform at the 2018 Frederick Festival of the Arts! Note: no artist exhibitors will be open during the concert. 25th Annual Frederick Festival of the Arts

Description: Celebrating 25 years, the Frederick Festival of the Arts is held along Carroll Creek Linear Park in Historic downtown Frederick, Maryland. This juried, fine art show features over 100 artists from across the country in more than a dozen mediums. Live music and dance performances take place on four stages, plus artist demonstrations, children’s activities, beer and wine gardens and extensive food court are all at this Creekside celebration. "A Night in Vegas!" 2015 with Nourish Now

Barnstormers Tour

Description: Ten barns in and around the scenic Wolfsville region will be featured during the 12th Annual Barnstormers Tour. This popular self-guided tour calls attention to these beautiful old structures and their importance to our agricultural heritage. The tour provides a rare opportunity to gain access to some of our most scenic private farm properties. The farms are only open to visitors on the day of the tour. Trained docents will greet visitors at each barn and some of the barns will also feature educational displays and demonstrations. During the tour visitors may observe artists painting at the barns. After the tour an art exhibit will feature the beautiful new plein air paintings for sale.

Father's Day At The Farm

All Dads get one free admission to the petting farm with one paid general admission (cannot be combined with other offers or specials). The farm opens at 10:00 am on Father’s Day and we allow admissions up until 4:00 pm (we close at 5:00 pm). So forget the ties and bring Dad out to the farm for a one-of-a-kind experience.
