Market Street Frederick MD 21701 (View Map) Description: Tuesdays at 6:30pm Keith Barney will teach a 30 minute 'basics' lesson followed by 30 minutes of 'beyond basics' class and then a DJ dance until 9. The music played will be Pop and R&B. No partner required. We will have color coded name tags for singles. Meet new friends while getting exercise and learning a new skill. Our goal is to prepare beginners with the skills to be able to dance to slow, medium, and fast music and provide more experienced dancers with a consistent venue in downtown Frederick. Smooth Swing is a modern dance that ranges from smooth and sultry to dynamic and exciting depending on the tempo of the music.
