 ...in Jefferson, Maryland for genealogy research. My great great grandfather John Kidwell spent his last years in Jefferson, Frederick County, Maryland. John was married to Mary Ellen Young from 1878 to 1884. John had a son Charles (my great grandfather) in 1875 with an unknown previous wife. John was also enlisted as a Loudoun County Ranger in the Civil War.

Some information on John would be great. I have an address from the 1880 census, but don't exactly know how to decipher it. Also, his grave should be in Frederick County.

Any and all help would be so greatly appreciated.

I know the McCutcheon Family that lives off of Plantation Rd (Off of Linganore Rd) in Frederick County.  Feel Free to contact me if you need anymore Information.
