(For lazy people that don't want to click on the link, it's a bumper sticker that says "The Rapture? I'm not worried. Santa will save me!")
Now, tell me what you think. Would most Christians seriously get OFFENDED by this bumper sticker? I'm guessing not. Naturally, some would, but I think they're in the minority. I'm not looking to offend someone, I'm just looking to give some like-minded people a laugh without truly offending Christians. |

Speaking as a Christian I would not be offended at all. I have a large illuminated sign in my front yard that reads MERRY CHRISTMAS ~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS. |

So I went to the Lube Center a couple days ago to get my oil changed, and the one greasemonkey glances at my bumper sticker and says "The rapture? Are you a Christian?" And I'm like "Heh, the complete opposite! If you read the entire bumper sticker, it's pretty much saying how Christianity is fake." Then he says "Yep, that's what I think, too...and I went to a Christian school for years!" And I said "Yeah, me too!"
Aaaah, nothing like Atheism to bring people closer together :) It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside! |

Too bad he missed the whole point of the bumper sticker. I actually even wonder if he knows what an Atheist is or even a Christian for that matter.
As far as the bumper sticker Too each his own. I choose my beliefs, you choose yours. The best thing is we are in fact allowed in this country to do just that without any problems. |

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he just glanced at it and saw the word "Rature." At least I hope so! Surprisingly, only a small percantage of people I know actually understood the bumper sticker when they saw it. The response it usually gets is "Rapture? WTF is that?" |
