Description: FrederickMommies.com will be hosting its first annual blood drive fundraiser benefitting the American Red Cross on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Avenue, Frederick, Maryland beginning at 8am. This event is co-sponsored by the FCOB MOPS organization. Appointments will be made every 15 minutes. To donate blood, volunteer at the event, or sponsor prizes for donors, please contact Melinda Griffee at melinda@frederickmommies.com or 301-606-3823.
Each donor will receive a coupon for a free pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream in celebration of Ben & Jerry's August "Pint for a Pint" month, and tickets for a chance to win door prizes from FrederickMommies.com. FMs Charitable Events committee will be staffing a "Play Area" sponsored by, Facepaint by Vicki, and the Dancing Bear, a specialty toy store located in the heart of Frederick City.
