Description: Knitting is currently one of the most popular art forms for teens and young adults. It's not just for Seniors anymore! Students will enjoy the atmosphere of the Museum while learning to cast on, knit, purl and bind off - everything they need to know to knit a variety of projects under the guidance of Family and Consumer Sciences teacher, Jaclyn Myer. Students will be able to use these skills again and again to create personal handmade gifts in the future. The course is offered Wednesdays, April 18 through May 23 (6 weeks) at 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The cost is $75 for non-members; $67.50 for museum members. REGISTRATION is REQUIRED. A list of required supplies will be provided upon registration.
