Description: Orlando diLasso was one of Europe's best known composers. Italian composer Andrea Gabrieli studied with Lasso and returned to Venice where Hans Leo Hassler became the first of many Germans to study with Gabrieli. The consort will explore the musical journey from diLasso to Hassler and their influence on the music of the High Renaissance. Regular consort members will be joined by vocalists David and Bobbie Rastall. Reception to follow.
