Positive Psychology: The Ingredients for Happiness
Positive psychology is the process of looking at your character strengths and moving toward them. Class starts with an on-line survey that measures 24 character strengths. You'll use the results to discover your own individual strengths and how they affect you. Learn how you can use those strengths to create a more meaningful life. Noting your strengths is a powerful step: It can be enlightening and relaxing, and it brings out the innate health at your core. Find out how you can experience happiness even during difficult times. Discover what causes people to see things differently, and explore the effect our state of mind has on the quality of our lives. Bring a snack; we'll take a break mid-way through class.
10 hrs., Tuition: $42, Fees: $21, Total: $63
