Description: This class is appropriate for both beginneers and those who have studied the medium for many years. Instructor Ski Holm, a professional artist with works in the Museum' permanent collection, begins each course teaching theory, technique, composition, perspective and shading. New students are taught how to clean and care for their supplies. Group discussions and critique enable even veteran painters to expand their skills and enhance the success of their works. The course is offered Wednesdays, April 4 through May 23 (8 weeks) at 5:30 - 8:30. The cost is $150 for non-members; $135 for museum members. REGISTRATION is REQUIRED. A list of supplies will be provided upon registration.
