Swimming Pools:
We have a close working relationship with most of the local pool companies and we can coordinate with either them, or you as the home owner, for the most convenient delivery time of your pool water. Whether you need your pool filled, or just topped off, we have a truck for the job. Regardless if your pool is plaster, fiberglass, or has a vinyl liner we will make sure we do the job right the first time. When topping off your pool we can go under the cover if the cover is still on, or show up after you have the cover off. Our smaller trucks are perfect for topping your pool off in preparing for the summer or during the months you are losing water from heavy swimming and hot weather.
To know how much water you will need simply follow these instructions and calculations:
Above Ground Rectangle and Round Pools: Length of pool x Width x Depth x 5.9 = Gallons needed
Above Ground Oval Pool: Length x Width x Depth x 7.9 = Gallons needed
In Ground Pool Length of Pool x Width x Depth x 7.5 = Gallons needed
(Note: Average Depth = shallow end + deep end divided by 2)
If there are two different depths take the shallow end plus deep and divide by two to get the depth. The depth is measured in feet not inches.
Ponds:
Darling & Daughters has the resources available to fill ponds of any size. By having your pond filled quickly, it will prevent soil erosion that can occur with Mother Nature is left to handle the time table. Please call for special quotes for jobs of this type.
Emergency Relief:
We can furnish water of any type, for use at any time, because you have been affected by an emergency situation. Hurricanes and droughts are just a few examples that may occur, forcing you to need emergency water. Down time can cost you or your company a lot of time, money and frustration.
Construction:
The need for water on construction sites is varied and not always readily available. As Construction grows we are here to supply your site with any water needs you may have. We can haul in water to fill pipelines and tanks. We can also provide rental storage tankers. Don't forget about dust control and clean-up!!
Special Events:
Special events is a sweeping term that can mean a Festival, Fair, Farmers Market, Sports tournament or Holiday parade. No matter what the event, if it is held outdoors you will need a water source. Often your only choice is to haul water to the site. Our water transport trucks can bring as much as 6000 gallons per load.
- Small Trucks of 2,000 gallons for tight areas and small amounts of water needed.
- Small Trucks of 4,000 gallons for top offs.
- Tractor & Trailers of 6,000 gallons.
- Storage Rental Tankers of 6,000 gallons are aluminum and stainless steel for drinking water.
