Phil Grove exhibits works that shows, photography You need to look at his work carefully. Sometimes you see images in his photography, He may use acrylics to highlight the colors.
Elayne Rogge (a pastel artist) and Jen Ludke (an oil Painter) usually paint together. They meet with a group of artists every Tuesday and paint at the Delaplaine Center in Frederick. You may see them out in a field or around Frederick Plein-aire painting. They were my featured artist together in February. The gallery was full of patrons and friends for our “Meet the Featured Artist” reception. They promise to be our featured artist again next year.

The GWC Artwork Gallery participates in a scavenger hunt each first Saturday of the month that is sponsored by the Downtown Frederick organization. Last First Saturday there were 19 different businesses that participated. We had at quite a few patrons.
Wanda Barth is a patron of our gallery. She has bought several paintings from the gallery. She says she comes in to have the pleasure of visiting the gallery for wonderful art. Wanda feels that this is the best gallery in Frederick for original artwork at reasonable prices.
Each first Saturday of the month, our gallery has a reception so the public can meet the artist of the month. We serve light refreshments.
