Welcome to the Urbana Farmers Market at the historic Landon House!

Welcome to the Urbana Farmers Market founded by Landon House owner Kevin Dolan at the historic Landon House in 2009.  We finished our first successful season last year and appreciate all of the support that we received.  We continue to receive many compliments on our first year of operations from people in Urbana who have fond memories of the Urbana Farmers Market at the historic Landon House.  We hope these photos from our first season bring back some fond memories for our supporters.

We would like to thank the citizens of Urbana and the surrounding areas of Frederick for faithfully supporting the Urbana Farmers Market at Landon House in 2009.  It would seem that we filled a void in the Urbana marketplace for fresh local produce.  As one of the newest Farmers Markets in the area, we enjoyed ourselves immensely during our first year of operations.

The Urbana Farmers Market at the Landon House was one of the few bright spots in 2009 in terms of Urbana small business development.  It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  If that is true, it is indeed nice to be so flattered!  We look forward to returning in 2011 in a very big way. And thank you again for all of your great support in 2009.
