 A Brief History:

 The Monocacy Valley Trading Post is part of a family of three, free local publications, that include the HoCoMo Freddie's Trading Post & The Rt 108 Monthly Advertiser. HoCoMo Freddie's was started in 1982 and prides itself as being Central Maryland's ONLY free classified advertiser for over 28 years. It's published 19 times a year and reaches Southern Carroll County and Western Howard County.

The Rt 108 started in 1984 and has been serving the community for over 26 years. It's published 12 times a year and reaches Howard County and parts of Montgomery County. Each paper is mailed to 12,300 homes in their respective mailing areas and 3,500 copies are distributed throughout local businesses.

Each publication provides readers with thousands of local bargains in it's three editions and through HoCoMo.com website. In addition to display and classified advertisements, each of our publications contain service listings, real estate listings, community notes, articles and other local information. Most of our classified categories are free of charge and who can beat FREE? While the paid categories are only $ 7 per issue.
